Parkhotel am Soier See
Bavarian with a twist: The Friedel family, who own the Parkhotel am Soier See, are enthusiastic admirers of Africa and introduce their guests to the harmonious design of the “Cradle of Humanity.”
baths and rituals allow guests to experience the restorative powers of the high-alpine mountain pine moor; specialized burnout-prevention therapies ease everyday stress and encourage visitors to slow the pace; and the active program—featuring Aqua-Fit, yoga, and Nordic walking—revitalizes the body, just as cross-country skiing on the adjacent trail does. Healthy Grander water flows from the tap, and for sleeping, there’s a pillow menu ranging from cherry pit pillows to side-sleeper pillows. Within the 1,500-square-meter Vitalquell Spa, guests can unwind in the panoramic pool, the sauna world, or with a soothing massage.
A hearty appetite
: The restaurant serves traditional Bavarian cuisine as well as light, Alpine wellness dishes. Upon request, meals from special diets such as the F.X. Mayr or BodyCur plans are also available. Exciting African dishes are on offer in the African Lounge: Cape Malay guinea fowl or curry fish soup are served, featuring ingredients such as biltong, okra, and traditional African spice blends of cilantro, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and chili.
