Ayurveda Parkschlösschen
Since its opening in 1993, the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen in Traben-Trarbach (Rhineland-Palatinate) has been regarded as Europe's leading 5-star detox and health resort with an original Ayurveda tradition.
Nestled in a spacious park of around 4.5 hectares and surrounded by vineyards, a stay here promises retreat, regeneration and a holistic feel-good experience. The focus is on authentic Panchakarma treatments, the "supreme discipline" of Ayurvedic cleansing. The programs range from 10 to 35 days, depending on the intensity. The treatments are carried out synchronously by two therapists with four hands - women exclusively by women, men exclusively by men - in line with the Vedic teachings. Yoga and meditation sessions as well as specialist lectures are also on the daily schedule. In addition to Panchakarma treatments, the hotel also offers shorter retreats such as anti-stress programs, regeneration courses, everyday breaks and private yoga stays. These combine Ayurvedic consultations, synchronized and special treatments, daily yoga & meditation, full board and admission to the Veda Spa.
The spacious "Veda-Therme" wellness area includes a thermal bath, saunas, a fitness room and a yoga and gymnastics world - the perfect complement to the intensive Ayurveda treatments. The rooms and suites - 58 in total - are natural, allergy-friendly and designed with materials such as marble, real wood parquet, wool carpets and natural wallpaper. Designed according to Vastu principles, they offer space to switch off.
In culinary terms, the Parkschlösschen focuses on vegetarian, optionally vegan Ayurveda cuisine: fresh daily, carefully prepared according to constitutional types, predominantly with organic ingredients. Alcohol, coffee, black tea and industrial sugar are completely avoided - in keeping with the cleansing cure.
