Royal pleasure: "The small grand hotel" is what the Ahlbecker Hof likes to call itself - whereby the "small" refers exclusively to the number of rooms.
From Austrian Emperor Franz Josef I to Danish Queen Margarethe II: the guest book of the Ahlbecker Hof contains many illustrious names. However, this should come as no great surprise, as the 5-star hotel has been the first hotel on the square since it opened in 1890. And the Ahlbecker Hof has also retained its imperial splendor. This is particularly evident in the Kaiser Suite, which not only boasts fine fabrics, sparkling chandeliers, selected antiques and its own bar trolley with included spirits, but also has its own roof terrace with a wicker beach chair and panoramic views. Like all suites, the Kaiser Suite is also located in its own villa building called the "Residence". In addition, the historic main building is also connected to two neighboring villas - peace, privacy and plenty of space are guaranteed. Guests can look forward to a total of 90 rooms and suites. The impressive hotel has been a member of the Pearls by Romantik hotel association since 2023.
Dining at the Ahlbecker Hof takes place in four very different restaurants. The gastronomic highlight is the gourmet restaurant "Blaue Salon", which - nomen est omen - shines in royal blue and is dedicated entirely to fine French cuisine. The "Kaiserblick" restaurant is more local and down-to-earth. Fresh fish dominates the menu here. Perfect for a café au lait in between meals, but also for delicious small dishes and grilled specialties: La Brasserie, a place where French savoir-vivre can also be felt and enjoyed on Usedom. The "Suan Thai", which transports guests to the Far East, is also definitely worth a visit. Under a large glass roof and a wooden pagoda, delicious curries and other specialties of Thai cuisine are served here.
In the Kinnaree Spa & Beauty, you are whisked away to the wellness world of Asia and enjoy the amethyst sauna, laconium, tepidarium, flower and herbal grotto. Ideal for moments of relaxation when the wind on the Baltic Sea is too strong.
