A-ROSA Travemünde
Extra fresh this summer: The A-ROSA Travemünde, housed in a historic building, evokes memories of relaxation just as it did 100 years ago—only with a much higher standard of luxury.
Charmingly peaceful
At the 4,500 m² SPA-ROSA, original thalassotherapy is a core specialty. Here, right by the sea with its characteristic stimulating climate, you can experience authentic thalassotherapy at its best. To effectively harness the healing power of the water for algae and seawater baths, treatments with sea mud, or full-body sea scrubs, SPA-ROSA has its own pipeline that directly supplies the three pools and seven thalasso tubs with fresh seawater. Those who wish to treat themselves to a special day are welcome to do so at the DaySpa.
Vibrantly Relaxed
The Baltic Sea, located right nearby, offers a sea of opportunities for water sports. Catamarans and fishing boats are always ready for a trip. Water skiing and wakeboarding offer an adventure for all thrill-seekers. A dip or two in the refreshing Baltic Sea is also fun. Golf and tennis facilities are available, and of course, you can always take a long walk on the beach.
Literary Delights
Thomas Mann was a frequent guest in Travemünde, and it was only natural to name a restaurant after his famous novel *Buddenbrooks*. For years, the restaurant was an award-winning flagship of the hotel; now the Michelin-starred chef has moved on and the restaurant is closed. Which doesn’t mean the cuisine at the hotel isn’t excellent. The Wintergarten restaurant, with its large sun terrace, offers delicious buffet fare. Always fresh, always varied—that’s what we mean by good cuisine. The wine bar serves very special small bites, with a focus on regional specialties that are served on plates and tables, accompanied by the perfect wines.
