Seezeitlodge Hotel & Spa
1st place: Take it easy: the host couple Kathrin and Christian Sersch have created a breathtaking retreat with the Seezeitlodge Hotel & Spa.
Beautifully refined
These are between 30 and 80 m² in size and boast numerous refinements and top furnishings. These include four-poster beds, a desk or console, balcony and a filled spa bag for the duration of your stay. All king-size box-spring beds face the window front with a view of the lake and nature.
The hotel's facilities also include the Lumi restaurant with terrace, the Nox bar with fire lounge, a library, three conference rooms and the Seezeit Spa. The Berlin architecture firm GRAFT was responsible for the architecture with a strong connection to nature, while Birgit Nicolay from Nicolay Design was responsible for the interior and lighting design. The hotel is a member of the Hideaways Hotels Collection and is one of the "100 most beautiful hotels in Europe 2018, 2019 & 2022" according to GEO Saison.
Much new
The Seezeitlodge at Bostalsee has expanded its wellness area to a total of 5,000 square meters. Further highlights include the natural bathing pond with a water surface area of 560 m², a new relaxation room, a pool terrace, a floating pool and a spa suite. This offers guests a sauna, a whirlpool bath and a terrace with daybed and loungers. The lake rooms on the second floor above the spa have also been extended to include an outdoor area with its own daybed (Seezimmer Gartenloge).
All renovation work and the latest expansion of the spa area were carried out in harmony with nature wherever possible. The hotel's energy concept is based on a photovoltaic system on the roof and a newly built wood chip plant, which will be used to generate all the heat in future.
