The FreiWerk was built in 1894 as the summer residence of a Bremen shipping magnate in Stolberg. Today, the combination of historic half-timbered villa and modern extension offers 37 rooms and suites. The seven new private spa suites, which extend over two floors, offer a special experience. In addition to a spacious living area and whirlpool on the balcony, they have a private spa with Finnish sauna, steam sauna, infrared sauna, designer bathtub and large rain shower.
The hotel itself has a small sauna and fitness area with herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, ice fountain and a cozy relaxation room. The fitness area features innovative equipment, some of which is made from solid wood in a German factory.
After a restful night, the morning at the Hotel & Spa Suites FreiWerk starts with a delicious breakfast in the 20zwanzig restaurant. In the afternoon, there are delicious cake and coffee creations, while chef and Michelin-starred chef Philipp Liebisch spoils gourmets with a high-quality surprise menu in the evening. From May to October, the popular Sunday barbecue takes place on the sun terrace. Whether meat, fish or vegetarian options - everything is fresh from the grill.
