Hofgut Hafnerleiten is the ideal place for a sustainably relaxing vacation. Guests enjoy time without television and radio in the themed houses, suites and rooms and recharge their batteries in the process. Instead, there is peace, nature, books and wellness, for example in the clay sauna, the colored light cube, on the raft in the bathing pond or in the Finnish sauna by the lake. Forest bathing is also a wonderful way to immerse yourself in nature. The surrounding landscape with its scattered settlements made up of individual farms has had a significant influence on the architecture of the complex: Hofgut Hafnerleiten also looks like a miniature scattered settlement. Puristically designed, both the interior and exterior design with its numerous natural materials blends in perfectly with the surroundings of the Lower Bavarian thermal landscape.
With only ten houses and seven rooms, privacy is pre-programmed for everyone, always accompanied by wonderful views of the surrounding nature. You live in the 80 m2 house by the forest with a view of the forest and the surrounding hilly landscape. Floor-to-ceiling glass fronts give guests the feeling of being at one with nature. In the tree house, adventurous guests spend the night in a 45 m2 domicile on stilts, complete with fireplace and balcony. If you want to live the "dream of a house by the lake" - at least for a while - choose the accommodation with the same name: 80 m2 with terraces around the house, infrared cabin and fireplace next to the bathtub. Also located directly on the private bathing pond: the boathouse with fireplace and wooden terrace. The terrace house offers a view of the starry sky, while the water house is located in the large bathing pond rather than by it and its large windows bring the surroundings even closer than they already are. The rooms by the pond are located by a small pond above the main house and offer a view of the Rottal hills. Like the meadow house, the hillside house is not only low in electrosmog thanks to its clay plaster walls, but is also a wonderful choice in terms of climate control. Thanks to its hidden location, the garden house offers maximum privacy on two levels with its own sauna, while the house in the field offers far-reaching views of nature and romantic moments in front of the fireplace. Hofgut Hafnerleiten was originally opened in 1999 as Lower Bavaria's first cookery school and has also developed into a retreat. Over time, the desire of cooking course participants for overnight accommodation grew louder and louder. So the trained chef and barista master Erwin Rückerl and his wife Anja Horn-Rückerl created the first accommodation in the form of the boathouse. Culinary delights still play an important role at the Hofgut. The hosts not only attach great importance to a Mediterranean lifestyle, but also to regional and seasonal ingredients. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, guests can enjoy their dinner at a location of their choice with the "Wherever ALWAYS" menu. Whether in the main building, in the garden or in their own cottage, the team delivers the main course to the desired location. Beforehand, visitors pick up their starter and dessert at the aperitif, which are served in a basket. If you would like to dine together with other holidaymakers or are planning a celebration, the GenussHOF is at your disposal. This offers space for up to 60 people and can also be booked for external guests. The highlight is the eight-meter-long oak table. Erwin Rückerl regularly introduces guests to the art of coffee making - from the bean, roasting and grinding to the artful pouring of the milk foam.
