In the heart of Bavaria—in the Franconian Lake District—close enough to visit easily, yet far enough away to truly unwind. This is where the Büchelbergerei chalet village is located. Nestled in a peaceful natural landscape, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The hosts, Almut Böker and Axel Böker, have just one goal: to offer and experience hospitality. They provide 10 chalets for their guests. The architecture draws inspiration from regional building styles and materials. Wood, stone, and warm tones define the appearance and create an atmosphere that is both authentic and stylish. Large windows bring the surrounding nature indoors, making light and the landscape an integral part of the living experience. Each chalet is designed to strike a balance between privacy and openness.
Inside, high-quality furnishings meet well-thought-out spatial designs. Modern amenities blend unobtrusively into the overall picture and support the chalet village’s central mission: relaxation at the highest level. Whether gazing at the mountains, relaxing in the private wellness area, or savoring regional specialties—every moment is designed to let everyday life fade into the distance. And what you can expect in every chalet: a private hot tub and an included sauna. Also on offer are a massage and wellness ritual program and the option of ice bathing. An outdoor saltwater pool is available to all guests.
Everything comes prepared. You don’t have to shop, weigh anything, or prepare anything. You simply prepare what someone else has already thought of—and enjoy the results. The selection includes ready-to-cook meals—tender beef, homemade pasta, Franconian-Bavarian specialties, handmade pizza—as well as custom barbecue packages for the Weber electric grill that comes with every chalet. Meals can also be ordered during your stay with 24 hours’ notice—just give us a call or let the front desk know.
