ALPZITT Chalets
When the mountain meadows in the Oberallgäu are transformed into a sea of color and the clear air is filled with birdsong - that's when the summer retreat starts at the ALPZITT Chalets in the small mountain village of Burgberg.
Nature lovers will find beautiful surroundings right on their doorstep. Whether hiking over the Alps and through tranquil forests, cycling to the squirrel forest or to secluded favorite spots by the water, a picnic in the countryside or golfing among the peaks - everyone will find their own personal power spot here.
The Gilb family's 9 chalets are located in a lovingly landscaped ensemble of herb gardens, old fruit trees and a babbling pond and are architecturally reminiscent of mountain huts. Fragrant Swiss stone pine, a tiled stove and many loving details make the accommodation a place where you can relax and unwind. Each chalet also has a sauna, a rain shower and a private hot tub with firewood.
Just a stone's throw away is the beautiful Burgberg natural swimming pool - entry is free for chalet guests. With classic massages, finely tuned treatments, cosmetics, yoga or meditation, a stay in the ALPZITT Chalets is also a journey to your own center.
From September 2025, the ALPZITT Chalets will invite you into new water worlds, an expanded spa, new chalets and other fine details that will make your stay even more special.
The day begins with a lovingly prepared breakfast basket, which is delivered directly to the chalet. This contains a selection of regional products, including fresh bread and pastries from the village bakery, homemade jams, cheese and sausage specialties as well as fresh coffee or tea. Guests can enjoy the morning in a private atmosphere and start the day feeling invigorated. The in-house Genusswerk restaurant serves a daily changing 3-course menu in the evening, based on regional ingredients. Guests can choose whether to enjoy the menu in the stylish atmosphere of the restaurant or in the privacy of their chalet. Regional quality you can taste: We use meat from the farmer next door, freshly caught smoked char from our pond, game from local hunts and offer you selected products and beer from the immediate vicinity.
