Hotel Munich Palace

Bathing in luxury: The Hotel München Palace impresses with its personal charm and fine marble bathrooms, which were once both a profession and a passion for the builder.

Only 89 small rooms and suites, and yet one of the greatest hostels in Bavaria's capital: München Palace has found its niche in the highly competitive Munich hotel market and presents itself as a privately run hotel with individual boutique charm.

Retreat

Located away from the hustle and bustle, the 5-star institution in the elegant Bogenhaus villa location is one of the favorite hotels of numerous stars: piano virtuoso Lang Lang likes to stay here just as much as opera diva Anna Netrebko or devil violinist Nigel Kennedy. If you believe the rumors, the latter always books two suites: one for himself and one for his violin. Is it true? No idea! What is certain, however, is that the private rooms in the Palace are among the most beautiful in the city - and you don't have to feel cramped here even with a double bass in your luggage. The 60 m² maisonette suite with private roof garden and spiral staircase to the sleeping area is particularly impressive. If you like it cozy, you should ask for a room or suite with a sloping roof when booking. Whichever you choose, all rooms are equipped with luxurious marble bathrooms - after all, the hotel was commissioned by a wealthy marble and natural stone dealer.

First-class offer

In 2002, the Palace became the private property of the Kuffler family. As the owners of a successful restaurant group (including "Seehaus im Englischen Garten"), they attach great importance to an excellent culinary offering: the Afternoon Team in the light-flooded Palace  Winter Garden is a delight. In the Palais Restaurant, on the other hand, you can enjoy creative delicacies before and after a visit to the opera. The Theaterkeller is also a wonderful place to round off a successful cultural evening. And if you're worried about your figure, the hotel's own rental bikes are just a few minutes away from the Friedensengel and the cycle paths along the Isar. In the wellness area on the 4th floor, you can relax in the sauna and steam bath, in the experience shower, on loungers and in the fitness room with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. Above all, however, you can enjoy the view from the beautiful roof terrace.
