Tradition Lives

On The history of the Halde stretches back an incredibly long time; the inn has held the right to host guests since 1337. This venerable tradition continues under the discerning stewardship of Lucia and Martin Hegar, who have guided the property since 2000. Guests can sense the centuries in the historic dining room, a listed building dating to 1677. The Halde’s cuisine draws inspiration from nature, with each dish artfully plated. The emphasis is on regional products sourced from local producers, and even the water is drawn from the inn’s own mountain spring, not from the municipal supply. Capping the experience are the Halde’s wellness offerings, such as the beautiful natural swimming pond and the BergSpa. Always accompanied by stunning views and the tranquility of nature, guests can unwind in the herbal sanarium, the herbal steam bath, and the Finnish sauna; swim laps in the panoramic indoor pool; work out in the fitness room; or indulge in massages, beauty treatments, and Ayurveda.
