Söl'ring Hof Sylt
Stylish, personal and authentic: Söl'ring Hof Sylt is a refuge of joie de vivre and enjoyment.
Legendary reputation
At Söl'ring Hof Sylt, the focus is on the culinary well-being of the guests. For several years, star chef and host Johannes Kling has been consistently recognized by the Michelin Guide, so that the two-star restaurant now has a legendary reputation that extends far beyond the island's coast. At the start of 2022, the patron will hand over to Jan-Philipp Berner. The cuisine focuses on down-to-earth products, which is why - based on the seasons - mainly ingredients are used that are provided by nature in the region and chef Jan-Philipp Berner leaves nothing to chance when selecting them: Vegetables, fruit and herbs come from the local area, fish and seafood are supplied by fishermen from the region. Guests here can also enjoy the unique Sylt Royal Oyster. This is Germany's only oyster and is delivered fresh from List by Dittmeyer's Austern Compagnie. The fact that the food here is cooked with passion, a down-to-earth approach and a deep love of Sylt cuisine is evident on the plates: exquisite rarities are combined with simple ingredients to create a veritable firework of flavors. The result is refined, authentic cuisine with a distinctly Nordic touch. As a special highlight, the gourmet restaurant has an open country house kitchen: from their tables, gourmets can look over the chefs' shoulders as they prepare their dishes. As the right wine is also part of a grandiose culinary experience, the restaurant has traveled to numerous wineries in recent years and compiled an exquisite selection of fine wines from all over the world that are perfectly matched to the dishes. The impressive menu has now grown to over 1,000 items. After the gourmet feast, a visit to the Kaminbar is recommended. Here you can round off the gourmet evening with a whisky from Scotland, a single malt from Ireland or even an Armagnac, the oldest known French spirit.
