Surrounded by a picturesque natural setting, the Dollenberg Black Forest Resort offers a truly elevated experience: high above the rooftops of Bad Peterstal-Griesbach, guests are welcomed to an incomparable hideaway—nestled within a 70,000-square-meter park that transforms into an enchanting island of flowers in the heart of the Black Forest during the summer. Here, you can consciously unwind while sunbathing on art benches by Willi Henke or strolling through the seemingly endless walking paths among sculptures by Swiss artist Housi Knecht. A highlight of the park is the wonderful amphitheater: When the stars light up the night sky in the evening and performances and concerts transport guests into the world of music, Italy feels very close.
The cuisine at the Dollenberg Black Forest Resort is defined by a refined blend of tradition and vision; market-fresh ingredients are transformed into an incomparable explosion of flavors by Martin Herrmann and his team. This is complemented by the exquisite wines selected by sommelier Christophe Meyer. Honored with 2 Michelin stars and 17 points from Gault&Millau, dining at Restaurant LePavillon is elevated to an experience for all the senses. On Tuesdays, Martin Herrmann also opens the doors to his Michelin-starred kitchen and invites guests to a kitchen party: While guests are invited to explore the chef’s world, delicious dishes from pot and pan beckon to be discovered and savored. In the Fireplace Room and the Farmhouse Parlor, down-to-earth enjoyment meets charming coziness: surrounded by wood paneling, the finest tableware, and a rustic atmosphere, guests are treated to sumptuous delicacies of home-style cuisine. From May to October, the hotel sets the table for its guests at an altitude of 1,000 meters. With a three-course menu and exquisite wines, you’ll leave feeling full and happy high above the valleys and under the open sky.
At the DOLLINA Spa, you can choose from a total of six different pools spread across 5,000 m². The four themed saunas, the steam bath, and the hammam offer soothing warmth. The experience is rounded out by a fitness area, numerous massages, and beauty treatments.
