Boutique Hotel Residenz Winkler
History and cuisine, combined in a luxurious and charming way: the addition of the “Boutique Hotel” designation reflects the special atmosphere of the Residenz Winkler. It is more than just a new name—it is a clear commitment to what makes this establishment unique: individual elegance, stylish hospitality, and a place that touches the heart.
Culinary Highs
Changes are afoot in the kitchen of the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant: renowned chef Daniel Pape is taking sole charge of the kitchen team. At the Michelin-starred Epicures restaurant, he celebrates inspiring creations made from exquisite ingredients. The gourmet restaurant’s new name is a play on sound, culture, and indulgence: “Epicures” tells a story, an epic, that carries events from the past into the future. It is precisely these ideas that are meant to be reflected on the plates.
With the name “Tafern,” the brasserie pays homage to the hotel’s roots: as early as the beginning of the 15th century, a tavern was located on this site. An innkeeper who received the tavern license granted by the local lord was endowed with special privileges. The menu here features classic, light dishes inspired by French cuisine.
Moments of Well-Being
The 29 rooms and suites are charmingly furnished and adorned with antiques; from the balcony, guests can either enjoy a breathtaking view of the beautiful mountain landscape or take in the lush garden.
Historic and antique décor also enhances the atmosphere of tranquility and sensuality in the wellness area, which features a swimming pool, Roman sauna, and tepidarium. Aromatherapy massages and personalized pampering programs leave your skin and soul glowing, while a personal trainer boosts your metabolism using the Power Plate.
