Hohe Düne marina residence
The Hohe Düne marina residence presents itself as a small maritime town by the sea with a beach, stores, restaurants and a wellness area. If you want, you can even arrive here in your own boat.
Everything revolves around the sea
345 rooms - which are called "Skipper's Cabins" in the hotel - and 23 maritime-inspired suites are located in the "Hohe Düne" district of Rostock, which was only opened for civilian use after German reunification. Today, it is a popular leisure and recreation area with a residential park, beach, harbor facilities - and the Yachthafenresidenz, which almost forms its own "city within a city" with its own shopping mall, seven restaurants, several bars and its own cooking school. Enthusiastic amateur skippers can "park" their own boat in the harbor in front of the hotel during their vacation - or arrive directly via the Baltic Sea.
It's never too much
One of the culinary highlights of the Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne is the restaurant Der Butt. Chef Andre Münch was awarded 18 out of a possible 20 Gault Millau points in 2020 for his creativity at the stove and can call himself the rising star of the year in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The French brasserie, the Newport fish restaurant, the steakhouse and the two Italian restaurants are also excellent places to eat. In the panorama restaurant Riva, you can enjoy culinary delights as well as the large terrace.
Everyone is happy here
