Wilmina

Surrounded by lush gardens and flowing courtyards, hidden yet in the middle of Berlin lies the Wilmina. The listed ensemble from the 19th century, a former women's prison with a criminal court, has been carefully transformed into a unique oasis of peace, and today offers heavenly comfort and tranquillity in the middle of the vibrant city.

The 44 rooms and suites are furnished with high-quality, simple furniture and natural materials. The fact that they were once prison cells is no longer noticeable, as they are flooded with light and airy. On request, the rooms can also be connected to form small suites. The hotel's roof terrace is also a wonderful place to relax in the fresh air.

Contemporary cuisine

Floor-to-ceiling windows and ceiling-high bookshelves make the library the perfect place for breakfast. From 2 pm, however, it is also a wonderful place to work and read. Together with her team, chef Sophia Rudolph reinterprets traditional dishes in the Lovis Restaurant and focuses on seasonal and regional products of the highest quality as part of Contemporary German Cuisine.

Lots of space to relax

The hotel also offers a fireplace lounge, which is a popular retreat especially on cold days, a billiard room and a spa and fitness area with sauna and gym. In addition to the hotel and restaurant, a multidisciplinary space for art, architecture and design has been created in the ensemble under the name Amtsalon, with changing exhibitions and free admission.
