WALD.WEIT Rheingau Hotel & Retreat
Nestled in the lush heart of the vibrant Rhine-Main region lies a retreat that uniquely combines the beauty of nature with modern comforts: the Hotel WALD.WEIT.
The architecture of WALD.WEIT pays homage to the surrounding forest: delicate, vertical facade elements echo the shape of slender tree trunks, creating an almost poetic connection to the landscape. This concept continues inside as well. Natural materials, local woods, and a understated, elegant design create an atmosphere that invites you to take a deep breath. Large windows and private balconies offer sweeping views of the Rhine Valley or the tranquil forest landscape—a true natural spectacle.
The Wald.Spa, featuring 3 rooftop saunas (herbal, Finnish, and infrared) with indoor and outdoor lounging areas, as well as two massage and beauty treatment rooms, is the perfect spot for a relaxing break. The opening of a 6,500 m² wellness area featuring indoor and outdoor pools, a natural swimming pond, additional saunas, and numerous treatment rooms is planned for summer 2027.
Meet, celebrate, pause
With four modern event rooms that can be flexibly combined to accommodate up to 200 people, and a spacious event terrace, WALD.WEIT is not only a place of tranquility but also an exclusive setting for conferences, retreats, private celebrations, or stylish weddings.
Exercise amidst breathtaking nature
Its location right on the legendary Rheinsteig trail, its own mountain bike trails, jogging and walking paths, as well as numerous excursion options in the famous Riesling region of the Rheingau make WALD.WEIT the ideal starting point for nature-loving discoveries and enjoyable exercise.
Just four kilometers from the hotel lies the famous Eberbach Abbey, a former Cistercian monastery. In addition to guided tours of the monastery’s history and architecture, guests can also explore and get to know Germany’s largest winery here. The monastery is a 30-minute walk along a forest trail or a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
Cuisine with a View
At the in-house restaurant WALD.FEIN, the natural experience continues seamlessly on the plate. The kitchen celebrates regional and seasonal cuisine with a refined, cosmopolitan twist—prepared with dedication, served with a view. Whether in the summer garden, overlooking lush greenery, or in the stylish rooftop bar WALD.TROPFEN, where creative cocktails and fine wines are enjoyed at sunset on the roof—pleasure and nature are inseparable here.
