The Barthels Boutique Hotel
A unique history meets modern comfort: On the oldest plot of land in the heart of Würzburg stands a new, sustainable boutique hotel brimming with charm and character. The Barthels Boutique Hotel combines history, street art, and first-class service to create a hotel experience unlike any other.
Even the lobby is a true gem. Original furniture and decorations from the 1970s give it a character all its own and transport guests on a charming journey through time. The rooms, featuring creative murals by Brazilian street artist Muricy and unique pieces of furniture, are works of art in their own right. They are spread across four floors, each with its own color scheme and theme. STONE (gray) reflects Würzburg’s historical and cultural roots with its numerous church towers, while NATURE (green) evokes the surrounding vineyards, forests, and parks. From the Africa Festival to the Mozart Fest and Wein am Stein, celebrations shape the city’s character throughout the year. FESTIVAL (red) picks up on exactly this. FLOW (blue), in turn, celebrates the Main River as the city’s lifeline.
Start the day relaxed
In the morning, the breakfast buffet offers a fine selection of fresh delicacies. In the summer, the rooftop offers a breathtaking view of Würzburg as you enjoy a delicious cocktail while the sun sets over the city. By the way, The Barthels Boutique Hotel is particularly proud of its active commitment to climate protection and of holding the greensign certificate.
