In the south of Tulum, hidden between palm groves and tropical wilderness, the XELA Tulum has recently opened with just twelve rooms and suites. Originally built as a private beach house, it has retained its private character. The public areas, such as the living room, rooftop bar and restaurant, are dominated by raw wood, stone, coarsely woven textiles and handmade items from the Oaxaca region. The private accommodations - some with private pools - are all individually furnished and open up to nature. The XELA also boasts a beautiful infinity pool and, just a few meters away, a secluded paradise beach.
