Well-being on a new level

The Klosterhof - Alpine Hideaway & Spa

A spa glow-up with attention to detail... and to the region

Away from stressful everyday life, hectic and noise... Instead, feel the comforting warmth, listen to the splashing of the pool and enjoy quiet moments with a focus on your inner center: This is exactly what the Artemacur Spa at the 4*-star superior Hotel Klosterhof - Alpine Hideaway & Spa is all about. A haven of peace and regeneration in the beautiful foothills of the Berchtesgaden Alps, which not only impresses with its unique concept, but also - after a loving "glow-up" - with even more privacy, a timeless ambience and new art objects. Feel-good comfort on a completely new level...

Furniture with a connection to nature

Among other things, new cabanas directly by the spa's indoor pool, which impress with their modern design and create a cozy atmosphere of tranquility thanks to warm materials and subtle lighting elements. The combination of high-quality, comfortable upholstered furniture and natural wooden elements invites you to relax and unwind. The cabanas, where guests can enjoy even more privacy thanks to additional curtains, were made from local larch wood that was felled in the Bavarian Alps, hand-picked and dried on site. After all, sustainability is a top priority in all areas of the hotel "There are no shorter distances and more sustainable processes," emphasizes hotel owner Dr. Andreas Färber.

The masterpiece of craftsmanship in the Artemacur Spa was implemented by a regional partner whose expertise the Klosterhof was already able to rely on during construction in 2016: the master craftsmen Philipp Haas + Söhne from Bad Reichenhall. "Long-term and ambitious plans can only be implemented with outstanding partners," says Färber.

Wellness for the eye

The same applies to the decorative design of the spa - after all, wellness for the eye is a must. The latest work by artist Wolfgang Gerner floats on the ceiling above the indoor pool - an imposing wave shape made of jute and painted with acrylics, symbolizing the metaphorical "rainbow path" through all phases of life. As the stepfather of Klosterhof host Andreas Färber, Gerner's art is an integral part of the hotel, from art steles in the rooms to the hotel's logo, a Celtic sun symbol that expressively reflects the hotel's philosophy: Enthusiasm Life!

Spa lovers can also recharge their batteries in the newly designed relaxation room in the sauna area or enjoy the view of the Berchtesgaden Alps through the large panoramic window front on new, comfortable loungers. A spa experience where the deep connection to nature can be felt and seen everywhere...!
