The renowned wellness and health hotel "Das Balance" run by award-winning chef and artist Andrea Grossmann and her family in Pörtschach am Wörthersee will reopen on April 14, 2022 after six months of renovation work. The entire wellness and spa area has been boldly expanded in the midst of the crisis, as has the culinary heart of the hotel with the restaurant and bar area. In the newly built "Balance Tower", which is connected to the main building, eight large wellness suites with a view of Lake Wörthersee and a completely new event area have been created.
"be in balance" - the name of the 4*s hotel really does say it all. The family-run hotel on Lake Wörthersee, which now has 64 rooms and suites, is managed according to the Western theory of the elements. The focus is on wellness, health, cuisine and golf.

With the expansion of the resort, the Grossmann family is setting extraordinary accents for a wellness vacation with special moments of experience and plenty of privacy. The Elemente SPA has been enlarged to 3,000 m2. An outdoor wellness zone with a seawater pool has been created for a special seawater experience on Lake Wörthersee. Fire & Ice in the new snow grotto and the 4-element shows in the event sauna are highlights for all sauna fans. The new SPA Lounge has been created for even more peace and relaxation. All the lakeside rooms in the main building have also been renovated with wooden floors and interiors. The new experience restaurant with show kitchen, walk-in wine cabinet and aperitif bar leaves nothing to be desired and also offers culinary delights for external guests. The heart of the hotel, the newly designed lobby with its light-flooded entrance, together with the new reception area, sets design accents in a traditional style.

The architecturally remarkably designed and newly built "Balance Tower" with round walls at the front offers space for eight large wellness suites with top equipment, infrared loungers and terraces with a view of Lake Wörthersee. The first floor houses the event area with four flexibly configurable seminar and event rooms with direct access to the Balance Garden. The newly built underground garage with 25 parking spaces, e-charging stations and a lockable e-bike garage provides extra comfort.
