Waldorf Astoria debuts in the Seychelles

Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island

With the opening of the Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, Hilton is debuting the iconic luxury hotel brand Waldorf Astoria in the Seychelles. Guests can look forward to an exquisite collection of 50 villas with direct sea access and personal concierge service.

The architecture and interior design of the resort combine modern luxury with earthy tones, selected art, the finest furnishings and unforgettable tropical views. In culinary terms, the new Waldorf Astoria offers six restaurants and bars that combine the best of international and local flavors.

One of the highlights: Acclaimed chef Jane-Therese Mulry serves Creole-Latin fusion concepts, including tapas, oysters and champagne, as well as delicious Asian and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with sunset views - a holistic experience that appeals to all the senses.

"We are delighted to open the Waldorf Astoria in the Seychelles, creating a unique destination that combines luxurious hospitality with the natural beauty of Platte Island. The resort offers guests unforgettable experiences and features environmental programs and partnerships led by a marine biologist specializing in the island, aimed at preserving and protecting the surrounding nature and marine life in this exceptional resort" - said Guy Hutchinson, President, Middle East and Africa, Hilton, on the occasion of the opening.

The resort has an environmental manager and a marine biologist and has partnered with local non-profit organizations such as the Island Conservation Society to lead several projects that provide sustainable solutions for the conservation of the island's nature. Also exciting: guests can also participate in various programs to promote environmental awareness. Activities include planting corals under expert guidance and exploring the island's diverse wildlife and natural wonders.

Relaxation is provided by the Waldorf Astoria Spa, which combines wellness technologies with high-touch therapies. The Waldorf Astoria Spa is designed to nourish body, mind and soul in a tranquil environment. It offers invigorating yoga, guided meditations and mindfulness exercises that focus on breathing and inner balance, supported by thermal experiences such as sauna, steam and hydrotherapy.
