From the Salzkammergut to the savannah

Gmundner Lodge

When they hear the name Gmundner Keramik, most people
probably think of jumping deer on cups and plates rather than elephants, giraffes and hippos in the wild. However, since the end of last year, Europe's oldest ceramics manufacturer has also been operating a luxurious and sustainably managed hideaway in Namibia. Nestled between the Kalahari Desert in the east and the Khomas mountain plateau in the west, the Gmundner Lodge consists of twelve tented suites that offer their residents the highest level of comfort and style on up to 260 m2 of living space.

While on guided safaris,
mountain bike tours, horseback rides and hikes, the lodge's own helicopter can also be used for excursions to the Victoria Falls or Sossusvlei dunes. Top: As part of the "All Embracing Experience", not only meals and drinks, but also spa treatments and activities are included in the price.
