Villa Colette is back!

A well-known luxury brand celebrates its comeback.

Does anyone still recall Colette, the legendary Parisian concept store on Rue Saint-Honoré? Just under nine years after it closed its doors, the brand and its founders are celebrating a resurgence this summer—as a hotel. Situated not far from Bordeaux, precisely at the tip of the exclusive Cap Ferret, where the Atlantic Ocean and Arcachon Bay converge, Villa Colette has recently opened its doors. Philippe Starck, one of the true greats, is responsible for the design.

The result: 28 rooms and suites in soft pastel tones, featuring mahogany furniture and private gardens, balconies, or terraces with views of the bay. In the restaurant, beneath a glass ceiling offering views of the starry sky or passing clouds, Executive Chef Benjamin Six serves up refined international cuisine. The bar, with its lemon-yellow boudoir-style decor, invites guests to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon oysters, and signature cocktails in the evening. Those who wish can book the hotel’s own yacht and let themselves be rocked gently across the bay. Living and enjoying life like a king in France—Colette makes it possible once again.
