New "Villas by Relais & Châteaux" portfolio

In response to changing travel needs, Relais & Châteaux, the association of exclusive hotels and top restaurants, is now offering a new portfolio. "Villas by Relais & Châteaux" includes over 500 fine accommodations worldwide.


Hotel service with distance

The range of vacation villas is huge. No wonder, as they offer as much seclusion as possible, vacations with privacy and a safe distance from other travelers. In this respect, the members of the "Villas by Relais & Châteaux" portfolio are no exception. What makes them special are the additional quality criteria that must be met in order to become a member of Relais & Châteaux. These include the accommodation being run by independent operators, providing an insight into the lifestyle of the local people, hospitality and cuisine being important to the hosts and a focus on protecting the environment and cultural heritage. Each of the villas in the new portfolio will be managed by an existing member of Relais & Châteaux. Each villa can be rented exclusively, has private access and - with the exception of those villas located in city centers - has no directly adjacent buildings.

Other features include a minimum living area of 70 square meters, spacious terraces and outdoor areas. Guests can choose from many individual service options. They can expect the same service as in a Relais & Châteaux hotel. Whether that's a private dinner by the pool prepared by a Michelin-starred chef or a private spa treatment. "Guests at Villas by Relais & Châteaux can expect the same excellent service as if they were staying in one of our hotels - at any time and to the extent they wish. As is usual with the hotel brand, the style and offer of each individual hotel varies. For guests, this means that they can stay in a magnificent palazzo on a Mediterranean island as well as on a remote ranch in Montana, in a house on a cliff in Sri Lanka or in a rural cottage in Ireland. The surroundings of the houses are also impressive.
