Junior Tennis Clinic:
a new partnership with the former Serbian professional tennis player Janko Tipsarevic promises professional tennis fun. As part of this collaboration, world-renowned tennis players will be hosted at Vakkaru for tennis training camps. Children can compete with these patient professionals to be inspired to play better; for fun for the whole family, parents and children can compete against these champions together. In general, tennis is a big deal at Vakkaru - manager Iain McCormack is a passionate tennis player himself - and the resort's staff includes a tennis coach who helps players of all ages learn and perfect the sport all year round.

● In line with Vakkaru's commitment to a healthy lifestyle, the
organic garden
of the resort was significantly spruced up last year and now offers a lush backdrop for family-friendly culinary experiences. Children are welcome to roam around this lush setting and learn all about organic gardening, horticulture and nature from the resort's head gardener. The culinary team also runs family-friendly cooking classes to teach younger guests about organic cooking and nutrition. Learning by doing is the motto. For an unforgettable dinner where the plants take center stage, families can feast in the palm-filled garden for private lunches and dinners.

In addition, the many varied activities that have always been offered at the Parrotfish Club are also available to younger guests. And teenagers are of course very welcome at the Coconut Club, which is open around the clock. There is also a range of spa treatments that parents and children can enjoy together. Another trend that has emerged is that some guests have started to educate their children from the resort instead of staying at home. Schooling is then complemented by teaching children to snorkel and dive and learning about the wonders of the underwater world from marine biologists.
