New opening of the Palladium Hotel Group in summer 2025

The renowned Palladium Hotel Group is launching "The Unexpected Hotels", a new luxury brand that will debut in Ibiza in 2025. Based on the success of the iconic Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, this new brand will offer an even higher level of exclusivity and individuality. At the same time, the group is preparing for international expansion, including a project in the United Arab Emirates.

A new era of luxury hotels in Ibiza

Since its opening in 2011, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel has established itself as a pioneer in luxury and musical entertainment. After over a decade of success, Palladium Hotel Group is ushering in a new era by transforming the brand into the exclusive category of "The Unexpected Hotels".

The new brand retains the innovative spirit and iconic features of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, including the signature typography, striking color and hummingbird symbol. But it goes one step further: "The Unexpected Hotels" focus on a highly personalized guest experience, expanding the range of services and raising the level of luxury to a whole new level.

A new highlight on Ibiza: The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel

At the heart of the transformation is the renovation of The Ushuaïa Tower, which will be renamed "The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel". This luxurious hotel on Playa d'en Bossa comprises 181 rooms and suites with innovative designs and state-of-the-art facilities.

Together with the neighboring Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, which offers 234 luxurious accommodations, it creates an unparalleled resort experience. Guests can look forward to a blend of stylish accommodation, first-class gourmet cuisine and unique entertainment - a concept that reflects the essence of Ibiza while setting new standards in the luxury segment.

International expansion into the United Arab Emirates

With the brand "The Unexpected Hotels", the Palladium Hotel Group is also focusing on international presence. In cooperation with Al Marjan and Almal Real Estate Development, "The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotel & Residences" is being built in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

This project involves an investment of over 100 million US dollars and will be realized on Al Marjan Island, one of the most sought-after destinations in the region. The luxurious complex will comprise 422 hotel rooms and residences and will offer guests an exclusive range of facilities, including:

- an elegant beach club
- a first-class restaurant
- an infinity pool with breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf

The location next to the prestigious Wynn Resort Island promises to make the hotel a magnet for discerning travelers and investors.
