The new World of Congress at Hotel Gut Brandlhof near Saalfelden

With the opening of the World of Congress in January 2026, Hotel Gut Brandlhof is sending out a strong signal for the Saalfelden-Leogang region in Salzburger Land. The innovative new building took just nine months to complete. The 4-star superior hotel now offers 24 (flexible) seminar rooms and eight event locations on a total area of 4,000 m², providing the highest quality and functionality for every type of business event.

"We are staying true to our line and continue to offer the full range of events. This includes medical and doctors' congresses, strategic sales and management meetings including kick-off events, automotive events in cooperation with the ÖAMTC, incentives as well as conferences for insurance companies and banks, mindset training and coaching," explain Hotel Gut Brandlhof owners Birgit Maier and Alexander Strobl together with hotel director Thomas Bauer.

Congress center accessible with large vehicles

As a special highlight, areas in the World of Congress will be accessible to vehicles weighing up to 20 tons, making automotive events, among others, unique. Atmospheric galas with up to 700 guests, product presentations, trade fairs and international conventions with spacious exhibition areas are also possible.

Thanks to flexible room solutions, even short-term seminar requests can be realized in the future. Customers have access to modern sound systems and high-res screens. Particularly noteworthy is the new foyer, which is twice as large with a room height of up to seven meters and offers generous space for innovative product launches and stylish evening events. It is accessible via the hotel lobby and impresses with exposed concrete, acoustic walls made of sheep's wool - and an unrestricted view of the mountains! A drinking fountain, a seating stone and a ladder by artist Herbert Golser, an innovative lighting concept with Diamond Tubes in the foyer and controlled daylight adjustment in the seminar rooms create a unique atmosphere.

Sustainability is the focus

Hotel Gut Brandlhof is also setting a strong example for its employees: In addition to a renovated team restaurant, a 500 m² team lounge has been created as a modern, motivating working environment with a pool table and table soccer, among other things! Sustainability was also the focus of the new building: a groundwater cooling system ensures efficient air conditioning, the existing PV system was expanded, roof areas were unsealed and greened so that the World of Congress looks like part of nature. In addition, a new wet waste system and a cardboard press reduce unnecessary transportation routes.
