Spa renovation at Le Grand Bellevue
Gstaad: New wellness & spa worlds with alpine character
At the luxury hotel Le Grand Bellevue, Gstaad
, major renovation work is currently underway. By the start of the summer season on June 21, 2017, the spa reception, all treatment rooms including the wellness zone, the spa garden and the hairdressing area will have been redesigned. Le Grand Bellevue wants to reinforce the alpine character of the wellness and spa worlds and make the connection to Gstaad and the region tangible.
Perfection at the highest level
With over 3,000 m2, the spa area at Le Grand Bellevue is one of the most beautiful wellness temples in Switzerland and has always had guests raving about it. But in keeping with the motto "from good to best", the luxury hotel wants to raise the already high standard to perfection. As part of this, the rooms and facilities will be redesigned in a renovation phase lasting around two months until the start of the summer season.
This will give the ambience a more alpine feel
and thus enter into a closer symbiosis with the region and the elements of the Saanenland. In this way, the look and feel of the hotel will now also be reflected in Le Grand Spa, and this change will also be evident in the spa garden. Only regional and alpine vegetation will be planted here. Taking up the unique DNA of Le Grand Bellevue, the incomparable charm of the hotel will run like a red thread through the new wellness area.
The new dimension of well-being
But that's not all: the range of treatments on offer is also more personalized and individual. The luxurious relaxation experience is tailored to the respective current needs of the guests, giving Le Grand Spa its very own, unmistakable signature. This can be experienced above all in the newly created Alpine Spa Suite, which is equipped with a Rasul Grotto, an intimate treatment area for massages and full-body treatments.
The extensive range
will be supplemented by a hay sauna and rounded off with an outdoor jacuzzi. The well-known Alpine Yoga Retreats are also on the program in summer 2017. For the first time, there will be a Detox Bootcamp in collaboration with the local Glow Healthbar. An annual and seasonal Fitness & Gym membership program will also be launched this summer, making the fitness area accessible to external guests as part of a fitness membership.
"With the facelift of the wellness area
we want to make our Le Grand Spa the heart of the hotel. A visit there should be an experience for all the senses and guests should also visually feel that they are in the unique mountain world of the Saanenland. It is important to us that the design clearly combines our modern approach of a contemporary 5-star hotel with the values of our long-standing understanding of luxury," says hotel owner Daniel Koetser. "Alpine sounds in the background, subtle room fragrances and new treatments are intended to bring the diversity and originality of our region to life as sustainable added value - a stay with us should create lasting memories," Koetser continues.
