By planting coral fragments together, the participants not only have fun and can lend a hand, they also learn interesting facts about the Adopt a Coral initiative of the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. The pieces of coral are planted in a frame. A marine biologist then places it underwater and monitors its growth. The frame is first given its own serial number, which appears on a specially created website. If you wish, you will receive an update twice a year on the progress of the corals you have planted yourself.


Enjoying together: Family picnics and cooking courses

Picnic with the whole family at your personal favorite spot on Furanafushi Island - be it in your room or at one of the lagoons. Chef Riccardo Pinna's kitchen team has come up with a sumptuous and colorful selection of delicacies for every taste. During the interactive, family-friendly cooking course, guests can prepare their own Thai, Maldivian or Indian specialties under the guidance of the experienced kitchen team.
