Seehotel Jägerwirt

Namaste at the mountain lake - big premiere with yoga, art, breath and sound

3 days of magical yoga festival & retreat at the Seehotel Jägerwirt on the Turracher Höhe
The atmospheric sounds of didgeridoo, harmonium and djembé filled the Seehotel Jägerwirt on the sun-drenched eastern shore of Lake Turrach for a weekend from September 5th to 8th. For the first time, this natural and sound backdrop formed the fantastic basis for a three-day feel-good festival full of yoga, music, community and more. As a project close to the heart, the family-run business set the tone for the future as a mental wellness destination in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains.

And with the current Soul Sangha Retreat, together with organizer Alexia Kulterer from yogalexia & ALKEMY Soul® Travel, the orientation towards a retreat hotel with a sense of spirituality, closeness to nature and health is reaffirmed. From over 20 yoga classes with workshops and units on topics such as meditation, mental health, kirtans (alternating chants & storytelling) or breathwork, participants were completely free to put together their own personal "Yogalake Retreat Program". The inspiring sessions were accompanied by a locally and internationally renowned line-up, including Nico @ Nicoya Yoga (Psychedelic Breath®, Yoga Beats, Shake The Dust®), Sara Ticha (Vinyasa, Bhakti Yoga), Ajeet Lakshmi Kaur (Mantra Circle, Kundalini Yoga), Sarah Bergmair (Electronic Power Yoga), Christian Gianjot (Kundalini Yoga), Felipe Calvo Montero (Breathwork, Kirtan) or Geoff Brooks (Hatha Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pranayama) from Australia. Music and sound came from the rock stars of the yogi scene, Hanuman Project from Bali, or Georg Gratzer's Woodwinds, live at the Waldkonzert.

Surrounded by the Turrach mountain landscape, lake, spa and vegan food at the Seehotel Jägerwirt as well as lots of love and spirit from its owners Sabine and Alex Springenschmidt, a close-knit group and warm yoga family was formed in just a few days. From the sunrise mountain meditation, to the daily vitalizing cool bath in the mountain lake, to the Balinese flower ceremony as a farewell, unique moments for eternity and deeply inspired yoginis remain and are already looking forward to the next events in the hopefully new tradition - Namaste am Bergsee.

Upcoming dates: Fire & Ice Retreat with yoga and breathwork from 05 - 08.12.2024, dedicated to fire, with ice bathing and Bali Salju (snow) massages as well as many more in the complete yoga and wellbeing offer at Seehotel Jägerwirt at  www.seehotel-jaegerwirt.at
