in majestic scenery: the islands of Spitsbergen, rising dramatically from the Arctic Ocean halfway between Norway's North Cape and the North Pole; Iceland, this uniquely wild and untamed piece of earth full of geological wonders and landscapes of extraordinary beauty; Greenland, the largest island on earth, world of fascinating glaciers and icebergs and home to Arctic foxes and polar bears; and the Nunavut region in the Canadian Arctic. It is the most remote and sparsely populated area explored by the Seabourn Venture. The Lady Franklin and Monument Islands, with their high, weather-beaten cliffs, are a dramatic highlight in these rarely visited regions.
