A gallery adorned with 200 mirrors and Baccarat chandeliers, a city garden with outdoor pool and jacuzzi and lots of contemporary art on the ceilings and walls: Opened at the beginning of June in a former telephone exchange on the left bank of the Seine, the Sax Paris is the first hotel of the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand in France and impresses with its cosmopolitan charm and French flair. But its location not far from the Eiffel Tower, Musée d'Orsay and Jardin du Luxembourg is also top. However, you don't actually want (or need) to leave the new Sax, as the minibars in the 118 rooms and suites are all stocked with delicacies that have been put together in collaboration with the renowned La Grande Épicerie de Paris by Le Bon Marché. Three very special hideaways, the Studio, the Winter Garden Suite and the Signature Suite, even have their own cocktail stations. There is also the Le Sax restaurant and bar, which is open all day, and the two-storey Kinugawa Rive Gauche gourmet temple, which combines Parisian elegance with Japanese cuisine.
