LA MAISON hotel

SAVOIR-VIVRE IN SAARLOUIS

Formerly the Higher Administrative Court of Saarlouis, the building ensemble of the LA MAISON hotel now blends tradition and modernity. A total of 50 rooms and suites are spread across the historic 19th century villa, a minimalist extension and the adjoining guest house. Owner and art lover Günter Wagner focuses on urban zeitgeist and a Francophile attitude to life both inside and out in his four-star superior hotel.

A HOUSE FOR ART
The furnishings and furniture in the public hotel areas create elegance and a homely atmosphere with selected unique pieces, vintage pieces and specially produced art objects. Mid-century style lamps, Bergère armchairs and extravagant paintings on the walls dominate the interior. The white, double-flight, curved spiral staircase in the hotel lobby is a brilliant eye-catcher.

The rooms and suites are as full of character as the buildings. The Saarlouis, culinary and park themes run like a red thread through all the rooms and can be found in the form of original quotes, the Chocolat and Ratatouille themed suites and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the greenery. The Conni Kotte suite in the style of a salon from the 1930s/40s is a highlight.

CULINARY DIVERSITY
Inspired by French cuisine, the LOUIS restaurant, decorated with two Michelin stars, invites you to enjoy culinary delights. Head chef Sebastian Sandor focuses on sustainability and rare vegetables. The experimental top chef likes to surprise with unusual flavor combinations: For example, he complements regional, classic ingredients such as beef and beet with unusual compositions such as shiso and cedar wood. To impress guests visually, he creates monochrome dishes using ingredients of the same color.

Since spring 2025, guests have also been able to enjoy their own spa. On around 2,000 square meters, treatment rooms, a Finnish sauna, a bio-sauna and a steam bath with an ice fountain invite guests to rest and relax.
