Ready for Fregate Island: A Private Island Shines in New Splendor
Good news from paradise
Fregate Island, a small 2.2-square-kilometer private island in the Seychelles with just 18 percent of its land developed and endless space for nature and privacy, has been given a complete makeover following an extensive renovation! Kicking things off is Villa 1, a spacious four-bedroom beachfront residence that perfectly captures Fregate’s quiet luxury charm with interiors featuring brushed stone, warm wood, and organic textiles. Also new: The expanded Plantation House is becoming the island’s hub, featuring a distillery, patisserie, art gallery, conservation laboratory, and the largest wine cellar in the Indian Ocean. What won’t change: A maximum of 76 guests will continue to share the luxury island with 211 staff members and approximately 3,500 Aldabra giant tortoises.
