In the north-east of the Dominican Republic, not far from the bay of Samaná to be precise, the Cayo Levantado Resort opened its doors in June. Surrounded by a jungle-green park with a botanical garden and three beaches, you can enjoy a luxury vacation with authentic local color. Whether excursions, wellness treatments, culinary offerings or interior design: many things have been created in close cooperation with the local population and under strict sustainability criteria.
Guests stay in around 200 suites or private villas with plunge pools, the largest of which measure up to 250 m2. In the exclusive spa area, guests can stroll along four so-called "wellness paths" under the motto "Refresh", "Restore", "Relax" or "Renew". An outdoor CrossFit gym and a personal training studio await active guests. Three à la carte restaurants and a buffet restaurant also provide plenty of variety when it comes to culinary delights.
