Pippa and Jane new at Eden Rock - St Barths

Two new signature suites join the luxury hotel at the start of the season

When the legendary Eden Rock - St Barths reopens its doors on October 21, the Oetker Collection luxury hotel will be offering two new signature suites: Pippa and Jane. The spa will also be welcoming a top-class newcomer.

The Eden Rock - St Barths in the French Antilles has always been known for its great attention to detail and impeccable service. Guests love the stores, boutiques, bars and restaurants of the village of St. Jean, the 34 individually decorated luxury accommodations "on the rock", on the beach or in the lush garden. And they celebrate the food of celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The delicacies created together with chef Maxime Danielli-Lefebvre, such as truffle pizza, crispy salmon sushi and lobster salad from the region, are legends in their own right. So why change something that is already excellent? Well, nothing has changed for Pippa and Jane. The two new Signature Suites are enthroned in a new building on the legendary rock overlooking the bay of St. Jean.

The Signature Suite Pippa, actually named after Pippa Middleton, is one of them. Middleton, the famous daughter-in-law of the owner family Matthews, is the namesake of a suite that boasts a large, handmade bed from which you can admire the crystal-clear ocean below. The walls are adorned with wood paneling - elegant and handcrafted. The bathroom is like a wellness oasis. Lots of pink marble ensures that even mundane matters become an experience. A spiral staircase, also handmade, connects the bedroom with the lower sun terrace. A heated pool carved directly into the rock awaits guests there.

The Signature Suite Jane was named after Jane Matthews. She is not only the hotel's decorator, but also co-owner. Unconventional elegance characterizes the style of her suite. Here, too, the wall paneling is made of wood - a tribute to French cabinetmaking and a reverence for local craftsmanship. Soft natural tones on the ceiling allow the bold colors and textures of the furniture to shine. A terrace with a whirlpool and a view of St. Jean beach completes the suite.

There is also a new addition to the spa. Her name is Dr. Barbara Sturm. She is a proven specialist in beauty care and has already looked after the skin of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lily Aldridge and Hailey Bieber. Now she also gives guests at Eden Rock - St Barths a radiant complexion and healthy skin. The spa uses her gentle treatment philosophy and offers non-surgical anti-ageing treatments as well as an innovative, holistic skincare concept.
