NH Collection brings five-star luxury to Ibiza

New hotspot for luxury travelers

Minor Hotels expands to Ibiza! In spring 2025 the NH Collection Ibiza, the brand's first hotel on the Balearic Islands, will open. The extensively renovated five-star hotel, formerly known as the Sir Joan Hotel, is located directly on the port of the popular vacation island and will delight guests with its stylish design, new restaurant and creative cocktail creations.

Gonzalo Aguilar, CEO of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, emphasizes the strategic importance of the expansion: "The launch of NH Collection in the Balearic Islands not only strengthens our presence in Spain, but also marks an important milestone for our brand." The opening coincides with the tenth anniversary of NH Collection, which now comprises almost 100 hotels worldwide.

After the NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso in Italy , which welcomed its first guests in March, the NH Collection Ibiza is the brand's second major new opening in its anniversary year - and promises to be a new luxury address on Ibiza.
