New wellness summit at the Posthotel Achenkirch

Spa in the adult resort in new splendor

The Posthotel Achenkirch on Austria's Lake Achensee has redesigned its wellness area. The five-star hotel is considered a pioneer for a wellness hotel in the Alpine region and has now renovated part of its spa area. In future, guests can enjoy a new sunbathing deck and relax in eight relaxation islands made of knotty spruce wood. The wood has a calming and balancing effect on the human body and ensures a clear mind. In the new whirlpool in the outdoor area of the sauna segment, you can switch off at a constant 38 degrees at any time of year. With the renovation work, host Karl C. Reiter has further realized his vision of creating a place of strength for body and soul with the adults-only hotel.
The wellness area at the Posthotel Achenkirch covers a total of 7,000 square meters. In the Sunken Temple, guests immerse themselves in the mystical world of relaxation and are surrounded by soothing steam in the dragon sauna, while the brine dome with salt from the Karwendel allows you to breathe deeply. A Room of Silence and a Zen Garden provide mental relaxation, while the warm and cold water of the Yin-Yang pool and the Path of Water promise more balance and energy. Finding your own center, seeking harmony and following the seasons are the principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The Posthotel Achenkirch in the Austrian Tyrol is geared towards supporting guests on their journey to the self and provides a team of trained experts, such as a permanent TCM doctor or a Shaolin master for Shaolin Kung Fu, Qi Gong or Tai Chi lessons. In addition, a varied TCM menu is served to guests every day.

The hotel's Lipizzaner horses, one of the largest private breeds in Europe, are available for encounters with horses. The spacious water and sauna world offers 7,000 square meters of retreat and relaxation. Culinary delights include daily TCM dishes and classic Tyrolean cuisine with products from the hotel's own farm.
