New opening: Hotel DIE POST on the Ortler

After two years of planning and a total of 12 months of construction, the 4-star superior hotel DIE POST am Ortler started the winter season at the end of December with a completely new look. The reception, 73 rooms & luxury suites, the restaurant, the wellness area and the gardens have a completely new design. Whether from the Ortler Sky Suite with sauna and whirlpool, the natural bathing pond or the snow-covered panoramic garden with outdoor pool - King Ortler (3,905 meters!) is always in view. The luxury hotel is located in the mountain village of Sulden in the middle of the Stelvio National Park - the largest nature park in Italy.

"There was the bold idea that took shape in our minds and never let go. With courage, hard work and enthusiasm, we reinvented our hotel," " hotelier Andreas Wallnöfer says happily.

Design & South Tyrolean down-to-earthness - fresh and to the point
"With the renovation, we want to create a place where luxury meets lightness and innovation meets tradition. We have preserved the good and changed the existing for the better," emphasizes hotelier Verena Wallnöfer. Clear architecture with natural materials, generous glass surfaces, warm wood structure and regional natural stone create rooms that characterize the South Tyrolean spirit. Since the end of December, the new POST has offered a total of 73 rooms and suites, including 20 new luxury suites. Private whirlpools or saunas on the balcony are the icing on the cake for absolute privacy and a magical view of South Tyrol's highest mountain - the "King" Ortler.

Ortles SPA³ - Wellness. Garden. Natural bathing pond.
The new Ortles Spa³ opens up 4,200 m² of space for tranquillity, warmth and far-reaching views - with six saunas, relaxation rooms and a spacious indoor and outdoor pool. The panoramic garden with natural bathing pond is unique. Lounge loungers directly above the crystal-clear water are little islands for daydreaming. Where adults find relaxation in the adults-only area, children need space to have fun in the Family.SPA. Families can let off steam together in the indoor pool and on the wide water slide. Fine specialties and drinks are available in the cosy Spa.Bistro. There is a supervised kids' club for younger guests and a gaming room for older guests - and parents can take some time for themselves in between. Treatments with fine essences from Dr. Joseph and Rhea Cosmetics accompany the retreat into your own rhythm.

Pampering board - a treat with a view of the summit
Breakfast provides the perfect start to the morning with South Tyrolean delicacies, a light buffet at lunchtime and sweet and savory treats to nibble on in the afternoon. In the evening, gourmets celebrate the combination of down-to-earth origins and culinary finesse with a 5- to 7-course menu. Relax by the fireplace in winter and enjoy the sunset on the panoramic terrace in summer. Whether with tea and a book in the library or with a glass of whisky at the bar - the main thing is good vibes only.

Let it snow, let's go!
Sulden is one of the most snow-sure ski resorts in South Tyrol. 44 km of slopes between 1,900 and 3,250 meters above sea level - with long descents and majestic mountain scenery, the region is an Eldorado for skiers, snowboarders, freeriders and alternative sports enthusiasts. The winter season here even lasts until the beginning of May and there are ski courses and child-friendly slopes for families. A special piece of earth - extreme mountaineer Reinhold Messner also discovered the 380-soul village and runs one of his Messner Mountain Museums. A small village with a lot of history, special people and now a completely new feel-good hotel!
