of the new Waldorf
Astoria Seychelles Platte Island - marking the brand's debut in the Seychelles. The resort is located around 130 kilometers south of Mahé on a palm-covered private island with its own lagoon and coral reef.
There are said to be over 50 villas with up to five bedrooms,
private pools and personal concierge service. Six exclusive restaurants and bars are also planned. As an "island of tranquillity on the island", the Waldorf Spa will offer six treatment rooms, a beauty salon, hammam, spa suite and intimate outdoor areas. As part of its "Travel with Purpose" commitment, the Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island will also have its own solar power system and an island garden. Guided excursions to see hawksbill turtles, eagle rays, manta rays and whale sharks round off the sustainable offering.
