Now the host family Rettenwender has taken an important step towards the future with a comprehensive revitalization. Within eight months, the traditional hotel was transformed into a contemporary feel-good retreat - without losing its unique character. The redesigned Hotel Berghof opened its doors just in time for the 2024/25 winter season and invites guests to enter a new era at this special hotel.

"When lifestyles and travel habits change, the hotel industry has to move with them," says Christine Rettenwender. "With the redesign of the Berghof, we have created a clear line - from the architecture and design to the service concept. Our aim was to combine modern standards with our traditional identity." Because the Berghof remains what it has always been: a place where guests feel like they are staying with friends - full of warmth, authenticity and loving details.
