New culinary highlights in Grossarltal
Successful opening of Skylounge Wolke 7 and Pizzeria & Cantina Inferno
Two exceptional new restaurants have enriched the Grossarl Valley in Salzburger Land since this winter season: the Pizzeria & Cantina Inferno in the valley station and the Skylounge Wolke 7 in the mountain station of the new Kieserlbahn, both under the management of the three hotels DAS EDELWEISS Salzburg Mountain Resort, Nesslerhof and Dorfkind. In addition to the high quality standard and first-class dishes, guests can look forward to an impressive 360-degree panorama and a great atmosphere;
Known among discerning winter sports fans , the Austrian ski resort of Grossarl is also developing into a gourmet destination. THE EDELWEISS Salzburg Mountain Resort is one reason for this. Karin and Peter Hettegger, hosts of the luxury resort, together with their hotelier friends, the Neudegger and Pichler families, are bringing the five-star experience to the mountain with a modern hut concept. The name says it all: at almost 2,000 meters, visitors can literally feel on cloud nine between heaven and earth. Located in the mountain station of the Kieserlbahn, the Skylounge Wolke 7 rises above the valley. With a 360-degree panoramic terrace, it not only offers culinary delights, but also fascinating views of the surrounding Alpine landscape. Gourmets can look forward to a varied menu, ranging from tuna ceviche to pulpo and sea bream to homemade pasta. In addition, various curries are prepared daily at the front cooking station. Those who prefer traditional delicacies can choose Wiener Schnitzel or homemade Kaiserschmarrn. As is usual for a lounge, there is also musical accompaniment. Five days a week, there is the finest DJ sound every day from 12 noon to 4 pm. The lounges in the mountain restaurant offer space for 90 people and in good weather for a further 140 people on the terrace;
In the valley station of the Kieserlbahn, the new pizzeria & Cantina Inferno tempts you with Italian classics. The menu includes a large selection of pizzas, exquisite pasta dishes and tempting desserts. The stylish ambience with its stylish look is also very special. A Margaritha pizza costs 10.90 euros, the fiery house pizza with salami, bacon, mushrooms and chili 14.90 euros and the truffle pizza 22.90 euros
