Mini-Yoga
Cat, frog, cobra and co. in paradise
Normally you wouldn't want to encounter a cobra in the tropical jungle. But that's not the case at Emerald Maldives. From now on, yoga sessions will be offered especially for children. In the courses, they not only learn how to relax, but also how to coordinate their bodies mindfully.
Ommmm in the largest children's club in the Maldives
It has been known for some time that the Indian theory of movement is particularly good for people who spend a lot of time at a desk. It is also no secret that children also benefit from the coordinated exercises, but yoga sessions specifically for children have not yet become really popular. The team at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa has therefore developed a yoga series specifically for the needs of the little ones. They learn in a playful way how to connect with nature, build strength and be mindful. Fun names for the positions make stretching and stretching fun. "Yoga for Kids" takes place once a week as part of the all-inclusive offer. The classes are held in the natural garden of the Dolphin Kids Club.
Incidentally, at 1,500 square meters, it is the largest of its kind in the Maldives. It not only has a children's pool, a splash park, a trampoline, slides and climbing frames, but also a zip line. It leads right through the jungle and will delight every child. Even some adults are tempted to take a ride... Families who want to do cat, frog, cobra and sun salutations together can now also do so as part of the family yoga sessions. These are held in the privacy of your own villa garden with a view of the ocean.
Of course, there is also plenty to experience away from the Dolphin Kids Club and your own villa. For example, there is the breathtaking underwater world of Raa Atoll, four restaurants, a spa with whirlpool, sauna and Turkish bath, Technogym, two tennis courts, two paddle courts, a water sports center and a five-star diving center. The Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, part of the Italian Emerald Collection, only opened in December 2019.
