Luxury cruise through the South Seas
Bookings open for the Le Paul Gauguin
The South Seas expert PAUL GAUGUIN Cruises has been part of the PONANT fleet for some time now. Both companies combine exceptional itineraries with the highest level of service, fine cuisine and unforgettable experiences. With one difference: PAUL GAUGUIN Cruises is an expert in the South Seas. All cruises on board Le Paul Gauguin from January to December 2022 can now be booked.
Facelift in Singapore
However, before the Le Paul Gauguin sets off on its voyages to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Fiji, the Marquesas Islands and the Tuamotu Archipelago, extensive renovation and refurbishment work was carried out in Singapore. The interior design of the ship was completely overhauled. Thanks to a collaboration with Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel, all cabins, suites and public areas now shine with the elegance that is already familiar from the PONANT ships. Fresh colors, fine wood, lagoon, green and natural tones, organic patterns and high-quality textiles complement the interior. Traditional works of art and exotic panoramas create an authentic Polynesian atmosphere on board.
These set the perfect mood for the destinations in the South Seas. PAUL GAUGUIN Cruises can look back on more than 20 years of experience in this travel area; passengers can be sure that they will only be presented with unforgettable routes. The cruise line's diverse itineraries include, for example, cruises to Tahiti and the Society Islands with 20 departures in 2022 and eight-day itineraries. The Society Islands can also be visited in combination with the Cook Islands; four departures from/to Papeete are offered for this 12-day voyage.
A 15-day voyage leads to Fiji, Tonga, the Cook Islands and the Society Islands; this voyage is offered on two dates. One of the many highlights of each trip is the stop on the private island of Motu Mahana. Located off the pristine island of Tahaa, it is the setting for a traditional Polynesian barbecue prepared especially for the passengers. The multi-award-winning Le Paul Gauguin can accommodate only 332 passengers and is rightly considered one of the best ships in the mid-sized ocean cruiser segment. Numerous water sports activities are offered on board and the Michelin-starred chef Jean-Pierre Vigato provides excellent cuisine.
