Savoir-vivre in the vineyards

The LUX* La Baraquette Resort & Residences is located in the southern French port town of Marseillan. Situated in the middle of a private vineyard in the Languedoc region, it offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the picturesque Étang de Thau lagoon with its famous oyster beds. The design of the public areas, suites and residences is inspired by the traditional architecture of regional winegrowers' houses. Slow Life Architects from Barcelona is responsible for the realization of the resort, consisting of 84 suites and 167 residences. Local materials and stone masonry are the supporting elements of the exterior design line.

The interior design was created by Lázaro Rosa-Violan. He has already played a leading role in the design of some of the best hotels in Europe. At LUX* La Baraquette Resort & Residences, he will cleverly combine colors, textures and the Mediterranean mood to create experience-oriented spaces. Interior and exterior design merge to create a resort that fits perfectly into the surroundings of Marseillan. It is said to be one of the oldest French towns and is said to have been active in trade as early as the 6th century BC. The charming harbor town with its market, restaurants and cafés offers guests of the new LUX* Resort many opportunities to immerse themselves in the typical southern French lifestyle. However, Languedoc is particularly well-known as the largest wine-growing region in the world. The Thau lagoon is also home to over 700 species of Mediterranean oysters, such as the pink diamond oyster. Guests and residence owners can also look forward to exceptional culinary delights.

300 hours of sunshine a year, countless hiking trails, historic villages, towns and castles in the surrounding area as well as the peaks of the Pyrenees, which are just a day trip away and make skiers' hearts beat faster, make LUX* La Baraquette a varied destination. Those who not only want to spend their vacations here, but also live here, also benefit as residence owners from numerous privileges, such as free room nights in other LUX* Resorts & Hotels in Mauritius and Vietnam, flexible working solutions, 20 percent discount on the best available rates in all The Lux Collective properties when booking directly and much more. For sale are 133 stylish apartments with studios and up to four bedrooms, 30 Mediterranean terrace villas and four spectacular waterfront villas, all with private pools.
