Le Petit Chef & Friends
New fun dining experience expands the offer in the Josefstadt culinary district
Josefstadt is a village, say the locals. Despite over 100 restaurants and a myriad of small specialty stores, the district around Josefstädter Straße is still an insider tip for foodies. Since November, there has been another hotspot in Vienna's smallest district. The fun dining concept "Le Petit Chef & friends" has moved into the Flemings Selection Hotel Wien-City and provides an entertaining evening with 3D projections about the world's smallest chef.

A culinary village in the city: At just 1.1 square kilometers, Josefstadt is the smallest district in Vienna in terms of area. Densely built-up, with only 1.9 percent green space, it was named in honor of the then Crown Prince and later Emperor Joseph I. It scores points not only for its proximity to the city center, but also for its village character and the more than 100 restaurants, specialty stores and small stores that make the district around Josefstädter Strasse a neighborhood insider tip.
From Viennese coffee houses to modern gastronomic concepts, bars and specialty stores - tradition and innovation come together harmoniously here. Today, Josefstadt is a living example of the diversity and depth of Viennese food culture and individual culinary concepts.
Small delicatessen stores such as the Swiss family cheese dairy Jumi or the chocolate manufacturer Xocolat can be found here as well as the brightly colored Thai cocktail bar Sip Song Bar or restaurants with different national cuisines. Le Petit Chef & friends, an entertaining immersive dinner show at Flemings Selection Hotel Wien-City, was added to this fine potpourri at the beginning of November.
Fun dining with Le Petit Chef & Friends: Behind the listed façade of the former Vienna Gasworks office building, Le Petit Chef uses innovative 3D projection mapping to create a mixture of taste and entertainment. The story of the 6cm tall chef and his friends is projected onto the tables and combines themed music, props and a varied 4-course dinner. Included are the world's smallest chefs from Spain, Italy, Japan and of course Le Petit Chef from France.
Christoph Travniczek, Hotel Director of the Flemings Hotel: "Le Petit Chef is a truly entertaining dining experience and equally suitable for corporate events, families or an extraordinary evening for two. The concept is successful in 81 cities and I am delighted that we are able to expand the culinary offerings of Josefstadt with the new story of Le Petit Chef and his friends. We not only want to give our international guests a great evening, but also open our doors to the Viennese with this two-hour show."
The show always takes place Thursday to Sunday. The price for four courses, with meat/fish or vegetarian is € 139,-/ children (6-12 years) € 69,- (excluding drinks).
