LA MAISON hotel in Saarlouis
New spa opens - Francophile flair on 2,000 square meters
Southern French lifestyle in the middle of Saarland: The LA MAISON hotel in Saarlouis is expanding its offerings with a stylish spa covering around 2,000 square meters. Inspired by the charm of Provence, the new retreat with a heated outdoor pool, three saunas, a light-flooded relaxation area and subtly curated wellness treatments invites you to slow down and take a break. A short path through the open air, accessible from the historic villa and the hotel's modern extension, reveals a refuge with Mediterranean lightness in a lavishly gutted existing building. A heated outdoor pool forms the heart of the spa garden, surrounded by wooden decks, shady trees and spacious sunbathing areas. Inside, guests can enjoy a Finnish sauna, bio sauna and steam bath with ice fountain. Feel-good zones and a relaxation room with a fireplace and fully glazed façade also provide plenty of space for relaxing moments. The window front can be opened to the garden, while a lounge area and a roof terrace round off the overall experience. Christina Beaumont and Achim Gergen from CBAG.Studio Saarlouis/Berlin are responsible for the interior design. The architects' signature can be felt everywhere; natural materials such as travertine and oiled oak planks, combined with fine natural lime plaster, elegant sand tones and warm bronze accents, characterize the clear, elegant design language. An overnight stay at the design hotel LA MAISON hotel costs from 268 euros for two people per night including breakfast.

Spa manager Lena Seeg ensures an individual feel-good experience with a hand-picked range of high-quality treatments. Whether classic massages, cosmetics, partner or pregnancy treatments - the focus is on precision craftsmanship, personal advice and exclusive products from Gertraud Gruber and Kurland.
One highlight is the holistic aromatic oil massage "The Four", which is based on the four elements. After choosing a suitable Relax Emotion oil, guests enjoy the effect of essential fragrances. Air supports mental balance, fire calms and clears the mind, earth invigorates when exhausted and water provides inner balance.
The interior concept was implemented in collaboration with Conni Kotte Interior from Hamburg, who has already co-designed the lobby, bar and LOUIS restaurant. In the spa, she once again sets stylistic accents with furniture and lighting - harmoniously coordinated down to the last detail. The garden was designed by the planning office Stefan Laport from Battweiler and complements the new area with a Mediterranean laissez-faire atmosphere. Owner Günter Wagner says of the extension: "With the new spa, we are creating another milestone for our hotel - and a holistic experience that combines design, enjoyment, nature and relaxation."
