Kyoto, mon amour

FAUCHON L'Hotel Kyoto

This love affair has been going on for a long time: it is well known that the traditional Parisian patissier FAUCHON has been successful on the Japanese market for 50 years. However, this connection was recently celebrated in a very special way. With the opening of FAUCHON L'Hotel Kyoto, the Group's fledgling hospitality brand is now building a bridge to Japan's "capital of tradition and art" with its second hotel. The detailed boutique hotel in the Shimogyō-ku district near the tourist attraction Gion combines the typical Fauchon colors of magenta, black and gold with Japanese elements such as bamboo and cherry blossom designs. Highlights of the brand new gem, which is already one of the Leading Hotels of the World, include the Grand Café Fauchon restaurant with French gourmet cuisine, the legendary Fauchon Bar with sweet temptations in the rooms and the world's first Fauchon Spa.
