Jumeirah opens new Maldives resort

Dubai Holding welcomes its first guests from October 1

Expectations are high for the Jumeirah Group's newest resort. The luxury resort in the North Male Atoll will have particularly exceptional accommodation that will bring a European feel to the Indian Ocean with Mediterranean chic.

Only a short trip by speedboat or seaplane over the crystal-clear waters of the Maldives separates guests from the resort. There, they can expect plenty of privacy in an idyllic location. This is because the luxury resort Jumeirah Maldives consists exclusively of villas. These are ideal for a vacation with friends, family or as a couple. All of them are equipped with a private infinity pool and a timelessly elegant interior design. But all of this is no longer enough to make them unique in the Maldives. The 67 beach and overwater villas are therefore of a special architectural design. This scores with its modern elements and the attention it pays to the view of the natural beauty of the archipelago. Each of the accommodations also has a private roof terrace with dining area. Here, guests can enjoy the wonderful panorama with all its shades of blue during the day. At night, it is perfect for stargazing.

In addition to first-class service, guests at Jumeirah Maldives will also experience a number of culinary highlights. The gastronomic concept focuses on Mediterranean influences and Nikkei cuisine. In the two award-winning signature restaurants - Shimmers and Kayto - the chefs guarantee unforgettable moments of indulgence. Another important part of the feel-good concept is the renowned Talise Spa. Six overwater treatment rooms and a large selection of treatments ensure relaxation. Active guests will be delighted with the extensive range of activities on offer. There are daily yoga classes as well as water sports, beach volleyball, billiards and tennis. Nature-loving guests can discover a new side to the ocean with underwater photography, make coconut oil or plant coconut palms. A unique submarine tour in the footsteps of Jules Vernes' "Captain Nemo" is an adventurous and unforgettable experience.
"Jumeirah Maldives offers an experience of unparalleled hospitality and authentic flair that exceeds guests' expectations," says José Silva, Chief Executive Officer of the Jumeirah Group. He continues: "Jumeirah Maldives offers a completely new experience in design, cuisine and service. Jumeirah Group's new home in the Maldives is a truly stunning addition to the brand portfolio and guarantees an unforgettable guest experience from the very first moment."
